From edgebanding to complete part processing, all the way to window and door manufacturing: Tecno Logica’s development path continues to expand. At its core is a production model based on integrating multiple operations into a single flow operations that would traditionally be carried out on several machines or lines - reducing different machining phases to a single passage and simplifying line organisation.
After introducing a new approach to edgebanding with the RO-TEC solutions, based on 4, 6 or 8-station carousel configurations, the company extended this principle to other panel-processing stages, including drilling, routing and hardware insertion.
The result is a system capable of integrating multiple processes on several panels simultaneously within a single machine, eliminating intermediate handling between systems and enabling flexible production, even for batch size one.
At the heart of the concept is the rotary transfer system: the workpiece is clamped and referenced vertically, moving through the various operating stations where machining is carried out while the piece remains stationary. Vertical handling optimises floor space compared to traditional linear systems while ensuring a continuous and controlled production flow.
This paradigm is now being extended to the window and door manufacturing process. Tecno Logica has broadened the application field of carousel technology by developing and patenting several configurations dedicated to the production of wood, aluminium and wood/aluminium windows and doors, differentiated according to layout and integrated machining operations.
