Let’s close our eyes for a moment and imagine a surprisingly compact factory, developed vertically, capable of concentrating within just a few square meters all the edge banding, drilling, routing and assembly operations required to produce a piece of furniture, while achieving extreme levels of flexibility. This is the factory of the future, already taking shape today in the R&D projects of Tecno Logica, and set to be explored in depth during the SCM Open House in Rimini, from 12 to 14 March.

After revolutionising the world of edge banding at Ligna 2025 with the launch of a pioneering solution such as RO-TEC X6, featuring an innovative multi-station carousel configuration, Tecno Logica has continued its journey towards a new automation paradigm, extending it to other panel processing stages and embracing a true batch-size-one production approach that goes beyond conventional models.

At the SCM event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the Tecno Logica team and explore the entire RO-TEC range, which brings to the furniture industry the principle of vertical workpiece processing, already well established in the automotive sector. An extremely versatile range, available in 4, 6 or 8-station configurations, designed to efficiently adapt to different production requirements, including single-piece processing.

More sustainable processes with reduced waste. Automation and robotics solutions capable of addressing the shortage of skilled labour. Outstanding efficiency even when handling complex and discontinuous production mixes. All these benefits will be at the heart of Tecno Logica’s offering in Rimini, from 12 to 14 March.

The factory of the future is already a reality.
